Eritrean Community Connections (ECC) is a non-for-profit organization registered under the 501 (c) status in the state of Washington. ECC exists to provide immediate (financial) needs, technical/career needs and emotional/spiritual needs of refugees in general, Eritrean refugees in particular. ECC was officially registered in 2015.
All of ECC’S work is done by volunteers who have the desire to let their lights shine in the world and neighborhood they live in. ECC’s philosophy of service is not only to be able to deliver checks or material support to the needy, but to be able to connect with them on a personal level so meaningful and empowering connections could be established so their hopes are kept alive. All of ECC’S case workers meet with our clients with [albeit silent] prayer and openness to a God-given opportunity between them. In doing so, our volunteers seek to serve the clients as if they were serving Christ, and as Christ would serve the needy.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways.
